Is it 4 wheel drive all the time?

Not all Jeeps are four-wheel drive all the time. Some Jeeps, such as the Wrangler, have a part-time four-wheel drive system that allows the driver to switch between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. Other Jeeps, such as the Grand Cherokee, have a full-time four-wheel drive system that engages all four wheels at all times.
