While most car shops do not currently have the expertise to work on electric vehicles, some automotive service providers are beginning to offer services or maintenance for electrical vehicles. Given the rapid developments and advancements in electric car technology, it is possible that more and more car shops will gain the necessary knowledge and equipment in the future. However, for the most specialized care and maintenance, dealerships and manufacturers' designated service centers are often recommended for electrical vehicles.
