1. Open the hood of your car.

2. Locate the upper radiator hose. This is the thick hose that connects the top of the radiator to the engine.

3. Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. The thermostat housing is located where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine.

4. The thermostat is contained within the thermostat housing.
