1. Park your car on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car and locate the transmission fluid dipstick. The dipstick is located on the passenger side of the engine bay, near the back of the engine.
3. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a rag.
4. Reinsert the dipstick into the transmission fluid tube and pull it out again. The fluid level should be between the "ADD" and "FULL" marks on the dipstick.
5. If the fluid level is low, add enough fluid to bring it up to the "FULL" mark. You can use any type of automatic transmission fluid that meets the specifications listed in your owner's manual.
6. Reinsert the dipstick and close the hood of your car.
