How do you remove the battery in a Citreon Xsara Picasso?

To remove the battery from a Citroen Xsara Picasso, you must first disconnect the negative terminal. Once loosened the the bolt and disconnected the lead, you will need to remove the top cover of the battery casing, which is clipped-on. Then you will be able to loosen the other positive connection with a spanner and lift out the battery.
