The £10 ‘Toxicity Charge’ for London’s most polluting cars comes into effect on 23rd October
Considered to be the toughest emission standard of any world city, the T-Charge will apply to pre-Euro 4 vehicles – typically those diesel and petrol vehicles registered before 2006 – with up to 10,000 vehicles expected to be potentially liable for the new emissions levy every weekday. Read more>

The last week has seen an explosion of news items about increasing numbers of electric vehicles (EVs), including France banning petrol and diesel cars by 2040, Volvo planning to sell only electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles by 2019, and Tesla announcing that its Model 3 mass-market electric car has started rolling off production lines.

EV Charge points will be required by law at motorway service areas and large fuel retailers under new legislation in the Automated and Electric Vehicles Bill.
The Queen’s speech revealed that the installation of public charge points for electric vehicles, as well as a set of common technical and operational standards, are required to ensure that EV public charging is convenient to access and works seamlessly right across the UK. Read more>
