The Plymouth Cuda is a two-door muscle car manufactured by the Plymouth division of Chrysler. The Cuda was offered as a high-performance model from 1970 to 1974 based on the Plymouth Barracuda pony car. The Cuda and its siblings were part of Chrysler's E-body platform. The name Cuda was derived from the barracuda, a predatory fish—although the original Plymouth Cuda concept car in 1964 resembled a piranha.
