If you visited Fully Charged LIVE this year (you’re already a winner because it was brilliant!) then you may have seen our stand, it was the one made of recyclable cardboard and a Hyundai Kona electric!
In exchange for testing out our new electric car finder tool, we were offering visitors a prize draw entry to win a 12 month lease for the Hyundai Kona electric.

The good news is that we have a winner! The Fully Charged team dusted off their digital tombola to choose a winner for us at random. From all the entries Alan’s name appeared on screen!
A big congratulations to the lucky winner Alan from Hertfordshire, who received his prize this weekend! This will be Alan’s first EV and he couldn’t wait to get it on the roads. It came at a good time as Alan mentioned the family’s diesel car is getting on a bit and will need replacing in the near future, so what a great time to test out electric motoring!
As a first-time EV driver, Alan did not have a charging point at home. Fortunately, as part of the prize, EDF Energy is helping to power his ElectricAdventures with a free home charger, and 10,000 free miles, with his #GoElectric Tariff.
With a free 1 year lease on the Hyundai Kona Electric, a free home charger and 10,000 miles worth of Electricity courtesy of EDF Energy, it’s safe to say the winner is set up for their transition to electric.
The popular Kona Electric got everyone talking when it first arrived available in 2 battery sizes of 39 or 64kWh.
Our Fully Charged LIVE prize vehicle is the smaller battery version in polar white, offering drivers 155 miles of ‘real world’ range (similar to the current Nissan Leaf).
The Kona Electric has been so highly anticipated as the 64kWh battery version was the first ‘more affordable’ electric car capable of a ‘real world’ range of over 250 miles. Previously this had been territory exclusive to Tesla’s Model S and X.
The Kona electric is a zero tailpipe emission car that offers comfort and practicality with a fully electric powertrain. Perfect for families who are thinking of making the switch to electric.

If you’re thinking about leasing the Hyundai Kona Electric, we can help you out…
