Maddie Moate (BAFTA winning TV Presenter & EduTuber) took on a challenge from the Fully Charged Show to switch to an electric car. A 6 part mini-series called “Maddie Goes Electric” is the result – and will be released one episode per week over the next few weeks. So if you’re interested in electric cars, but don’t know where to start, this is the series for you.

At DriveElectric we aim to make the transition to electric motoring as easy as possible, so we were delighted to be involved in this project and to be able to help find the right car for Maddie. In episode 1 you’ll spot Robyn from our friendly sales team talking though the benefits of leasing and electric cars with Maddie.
We help people make the switch to electric cars and vans daily, but seeing the journey from a newbie’s point of view has been great for us. As you might have guessed by now we’re BIG EV enthusiasts at DriveElectric HQ and sometimes we forget that going electric can feel like a leap of faith initially. Making the switch to an electric car can require small lifestyle and mindset adjustments. But in our experience these are positive changes and going electric is not decision you will regret, so we are excited to see how Maddie got on.
