Park your grizzly on level ground and set the parking brake. Then turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely.
Step 2: Remove the seat and the battery cover.
To remove the seat, lift the front of the seat up and then slide it back until it comes off the hooks on the rear of the seat pan.
To remove the battery cover, turn the knob on the battery cover to the left and lift it up.
Step 3: Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Use a wrench to loosen the nut that holds the negative battery terminal cable to the battery. Then, remove the cable from the battery terminal.
Step 4: Disconnect the positive battery terminal.
Use a wrench to loosen the nut that holds the positive battery terminal cable to the battery. Then, remove the cable from the battery terminal.
Step 5: Remove the battery from the battery compartment.
Lift the battery out of the battery compartment.
Step 6: Install the new battery.
Place the new battery in the battery compartment and connect the positive battery terminal cable to the positive battery terminal. Then, connect the negative battery terminal cable to the negative battery terminal.
Step 7: Replace the battery cover and the seat.
Replace the battery cover and the seat in the reverse order that you removed them.
