7. Clean the Battery Terminals. Use a wire brush to clean the battery terminals and the battery cable clamps. This will ensure a good electrical connection.
8. Reconnect the Battery. Reconnect the battery to the motorcycle by reattaching the positive and negative battery cables and tightening the cable clamps.
9. Check the Battery Voltage. Use a multimeter to check the battery's voltage while it is connected to the motorcycle. The voltage should be around 12.5-13.2 volts.
10. Reinstall the Battery Fluid Caps. If you removed the battery's fluid caps for charging, reinstall them before riding the motorcycle.
