Materials:
- Flathead screwdriver
- Phillips head screwdriver
- 12V motorcycle battery (replace with the same size and type as the original)
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal:
- Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen and remove the nut on the negative battery terminal.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable by gently pulling it off the terminal.
2. Disconnect the positive battery terminal:
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen and remove the nut on the positive battery terminal.
- Disconnect the positive battery cable by gently pulling it off the terminal.
3. Remove the battery:
- Lift and remove the battery straight up and out of the battery compartment, be careful not to spill any battery acid.
4. Install the new battery:
- Make sure the terminals on the new battery match the terminals on your bike's wiring.
- Place the new battery into the battery compartment and ensure it is secure.
5. Connect the positive battery terminal:
- Connect the positive battery cable back to the terminal and securely tighten the nut using the Phillips head screwdriver.
6. Connect the negative battery terminal:
- Connect the negative battery cable back to the terminal and securely tighten the nut using the flathead screwdriver.
7. Test the battery:
- Ensure that the wiring and terminals are properly connected, then attempt to start your motorcycle.
