1. Park your motorcycle on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Allow the engine to cool down for several minutes.
3. Locate the transmission fluid drain plug. On the 2007 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic, the transmission fluid drain plug is located on the bottom of the transmission case, just below the engine oil filter.
4. Place an oil drain pan under the transmission fluid drain plug.
5. Use a 17mm wrench to loosen the transmission fluid drain plug.
6. Allow the transmission fluid to drain completely into the oil drain pan.
7. Once the transmission fluid has drained completely, reinstall the transmission fluid drain plug using the 17mm wrench.
8. Tighten the transmission fluid drain plug until it is snug.
9. Dispose of the used transmission fluid properly.
10. Add new transmission fluid to the transmission. The 2007 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic transmission requires approximately 32 ounces of SAE 90 weight gear oil.
11. Check the transmission fluid level and add more fluid if necessary.
12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
13. Stop the engine and recheck the transmission fluid level.
14. Make sure the transmission fluid level is between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the transmission fluid dipstick.
