Using the emergency release lever:
1. Locate the emergency release lever inside the trunk. It is usually located on the left side of the trunk, near the taillight.
2. Pull the emergency release lever to release the trunk latch.
3. Open the trunk.
Using the key:
1. Insert the key into the lock cylinder on the rear decklid.
2. Turn the key counterclockwise to release the trunk latch.
3. Open the trunk.
