Remove front dashboard speakers 79 gmc van?

To remove the front dashboard speakers in a 1979 GMC van, follow these steps:

1) Turn off the radio and disconnect the battery.

2) Locate the speaker grilles on the dashboard. They are usually located on either side of the center console.

3) Pry off the speaker grilles using a flat-head screwdriver or trim removal tool.

4) Remove the screws holding the speakers in place.

5) Disconnect the speaker wires from the speakers.

6) Remove the speakers from the dashboard.

To reinstall the speakers, simply reverse the steps above.
