Is there a law that limits the height of truck lights?
In the US, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has regulations regarding the height of truck lights. Section 393.11 of the FMCSA regulations specifies that the maximum height of any lamp (including turn signals, clearance lamps, and identification lamps) on a truck must not exceed 12 feet, 6 inches (3.81 meters) above the ground.
