- Look at the fuse itself: If the fuse is blown, the wire inside will be broken. You may also see a small amount of melted plastic around the fuse.
- Test the fuse with a multimeter: A multimeter can be used to test the continuity of a fuse. If the fuse is blown, the multimeter will not register any continuity.
- Try to replace the fuse: If you can't tell if a fuse is blown or not, you can try to replace it. If the new fuse blows immediately, then the old fuse was blown.
- Listen for a popping sound: If you hear a popping sound when you turn on your car, it could be a sign that a fuse has blown.
