1. Park your Primera on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake and chock the wheels.
3. Open the hood of your Primera.
4. Locate the transmission. It is usually located in the front of the engine compartment, near the bottom.
5. On the side or top of the transmission, you should see the reversing light switch. It is usually a small, cylindrical-shaped switch with two or three wires connected to it.
6. If you are still unable to locate the reversing light switch, consult your Nissan Primera owner's manual for specific instructions.
