2. Connect a tachometer to the truck’s engine.
3. Locate the idle air control valve (IAC) on the throttle body.
4. Use a screwdriver to turn the IAC valve clockwise until the engine idles at the desired speed.
5. Disconnect the tachometer and test drive the truck to ensure that the idle is stable.
