1. Turn the ignition off and allow the vehicle to cool.
2. Open the hood.
3. Locate the blower motor resistor. On most models, it is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, behind the glove compartment.

1. Access the blower motor resistor. On some models, the blower motor resistor is located inside the cabin, behind the glove box. To access the resistor, you may need to remove the glove box.
2. Remove the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor.
3. Remove the retaining screws or clips that hold the resistor in place.
4. Pull the blower motor resistor out of its housing.
