How do you fix brake lights in a 2001 Dodge Caravan when all work?

It is very likely that your issue is with the brake light switch. Here is a guide to help you with that:

Tools Needed:

- Socket Set

- Flat Head Screwdriver

- Phillips Head Screwdriver

- Flashlight

1. Locate the brake light switch. The brake light switch is located under the dashboard, near the brake pedal. It is a small black switch with a plunger that is actuated by the brake pedal.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake light switch. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry open the locking tab on the electrical connector and then pull the connector off of the switch.

3. Remove the old brake light switch. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the brake light switch in place. Then, pull the switch out of the bracket.

4. Inspect the brake light switch. Look for any damage to the switch, such as cracks or broken wires. If the switch is damaged, it will need to be replaced.

5. Install the new brake light switch. Insert the new switch into the bracket and tighten the two screws.

6. Reconnect the electrical connector. Push the electrical connector onto the switch until it snaps into place.

7. Test the brake lights. Press the brake pedal and make sure that the brake lights come on.

If the brake lights still do not come on, you may need to check the fuse for the brake lights. The fuse for the brake lights is located in the fuse panel under the dashboard. If the fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced.
