2. Locate the blower motor. It is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, behind the glove box.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
4. Remove the three screws that hold the blower motor in place.
5. Pull the blower motor straight out of the housing.
6. The blower motor resistor is located on the back of the blower motor. Carefully pry it out of the bracket and turn the resistor upside down.
7. Use a small flashlight and magnifier to inspect for burnt contacts, then take a picture of the wiring connection.
8. Unclip the wire harness connector and remove the old resistor.
9. Install the new resistor by snapping it into place. If there are any burnt or blackened wires from overheating. Connect matching color wiring terminals.
10. Re-insert the blower motor and replace the three screws.
11. Re-connect the electrical connector to the blower motor.
12. Close the hood.
