1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and allow the engine to cool down completely.
2. Open the hood of the vehicle.
3. Locate the radiator drain plug. It is usually a small, plastic plug located at the bottom of the radiator.
4. Place a drain pan under the radiator drain plug.
5. Use a wrench to loosen the radiator drain plug and allow the coolant to drain into the drain pan.
6. Allow the coolant to drain completely, which may take a few minutes.
7. Once the coolant has stopped draining, replace the radiator drain plug and tighten it securely.
8. Dispose of the old coolant properly according to your local regulations.
