1. Open the hood of your vehicle and locate the starter motor. It is usually mounted on the front of the engine block, near the bottom.
2. The starter solenoid is a small, cylindrical device that is attached to the starter motor. It has two terminals, one that is connected to the battery and the other that is connected to the starter motor.
3. To remove the starter solenoid, first, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
4. Then, use a wrench to loosen the two nuts that hold the solenoid in place.
5. Once the nuts are loose, you can pull the solenoid off of the starter motor.
6. Be careful not to drop the solenoid, as it is a fragile piece of equipment.
