2. Label the spark plug wires. Before you remove the wires, label them so that you know which wire goes to which spark plug. You can do this by using a piece of tape or a marker.
3. Install the new spark plug wires. Start by installing the wire for the number 1 spark plug. This wire is usually located at the front of the engine on the driver's side. Push the wire onto the spark plug until it snaps into place.
4. Repeat step 3 for the remaining spark plug wires. Work your way around the engine, installing the wires in the correct order.
5. Secure the spark plug wires. Once all of the wires are installed, use a zip tie or a piece of wire to secure them in place. This will help to prevent the wires from coming loose.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks around the spark plug wires. If you see any leaks, tighten the wires until the leaks stop.
