Replace cabin air filter on a 2000 town car?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- New cabin air filter (check your owner's manual for the correct size)

- Screwdriver

- Flashlight

- Vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment

Instructions:

1. Open the hood of your car and locate the air intake cowl. It's usually located at the base of the windshield, near the center of the car.

2. Remove the screws holding the air intake cowl in place. There are typically two to four screws.

3. Lift the air intake cowl up and off the car.

4. Locate the cabin air filter housing. It's usually a black plastic box located inside the air intake cowl.

5. Open the cabin air filter housing. There is typically a latch or clip that you need to release.

6. Remove the old cabin air filter. It's usually a rectangular piece of foam or paper.

7. Vacuum the inside of the cabin air filter housing. This will remove any dust or debris that has accumulated.

8. Insert the new cabin air filter into the housing. Make sure that it's seated properly.

9. Close the cabin air filter housing and reinstall the air intake cowl.

10. Screw the air intake cowl back into place.
