How do you find 1 on ford mustang 302 distributor cap?

1. Locate the distributor cap on the engine. It is usually a round, black plastic cover with a single wire leading from it.

2. Remove the distributor cap by gently pulling up on it.

3. Look inside the distributor cap and locate the distributor rotor. It is a small, round piece of metal with a single prong that extends from it.

4. The prong on the distributor rotor should be pointing to one of the terminals on the inside of the distributor cap. This terminal is labeled with the number "1".

5. Replace the distributor cap and reconnect the wire.
