- A fuel pressure gauge
- A fuel line disconnect tool
- A screwdriver
- A wrench
Instructions:
1. Park the van on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of the van and locate the fuel pressure test port. It is located on the fuel rail, near the fuel injector.
3. Connect the fuel pressure gauge to the test port.
4. Turn the key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
5. The fuel pressure gauge should read between 55 and 62 psi.
6. If the fuel pressure is not within specifications, you may need to replace the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator.
7. To disconnect the fuel pressure gauge, turn the key to the "OFF" position and remove the gauge from the test port.
Note: Be careful when working around gasoline, as it is flammable and can be dangerous.
