To remove the drain plugs, you will need a 17mm wrench. Place the wrench on the plug and turn it counterclockwise until it is loose. Allow the transmission fluid to drain into a drain pan. Once all of the fluid has drained, replace the drain plugs and tighten them securely.
To access the check plug, you will need to first remove the skid plate located beneath the transmission. Once you have removed the skid plate, you should see the check plug, located on the bottom of the transmission pan. To remove the check plug, you will need a 24mm wrench. Place the wrench on the check plug and turn it counterclockwise until it is loose. Once the check plug is removed, you should see a small amount of transmission fluid seeping out of the hole. The proper level of transmission fluid should be at the bottom of the fill hole. If the fluid level is low, you will need to add more transmission fluid.
