1. At a complete stop, put the transmission in neutral.
2. Turn the 4x4 selector switch to 4WD-Hi while continuing to press the clutch.
3. Engage the clutch (automatic transmission; release the brake).
4WD Hi to 4WD Lo
1. With the transmission in neutral and the vehicle stopped, turn the 4x4 selector switch to 4WD-Lo.
2. Engage the clutch (automatic transmission; release the brake).
4WD LO to 4WD Hi
While traveling at a speed of less than 55 mph, turn the 4x4 selector switch to 4WD-Hi. Do not stop the truck!
4WD Hi to 2WD
1. At a complete stop, put the transmission in neutral.
2. Press the clutch to the floor (automatic transmission; apply brakes and shift to "P").
3. Turn the 4x4 selector switch to the two-wheel-drive position.
4. Release the clutch (automatic transmission; release the brake).
