1. Remove the refrigerant from the system.
2. Remove the battery and battery tray.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the blower motor.
4. Remove the blower motor.
5. Remove the three bolts that secure the A/C evaporator housing to the firewall.
6. Carefully lower the A/C evaporator housing out of the vehicle.
7. The heater core is located inside the A/C evaporator housing.
8. Remove the two nuts that secure the heater core to the housing.
9. Carefully pull the heater core out of the housing.
