2. Remove the fuel filter cap. This is usually done by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Remove the old fuel filter element. It will be located inside the fuel filter housing.
4. Inspect the old fuel filter element for dirt and debris. If it is dirty, it will need to be replaced.
5. Install the new fuel filter element. Make sure that it is seated properly in the filter housing.
6. Replace the fuel filter cap. Turn it clockwise until it is snug.
