The brake light switch is a small, black plastic switch that is attached to the brake pedal assembly. It has two wires coming out of it.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Locate the brake light switch.

5. Remove the old brake light switch.
6. Install the new brake light switch.
7. Tighten the two nuts that hold the brake light switch in place.
