1. Turn off the vehicle and allow it to cool down.
2. Open the hood of the vehicle.
3. Locate the horn relay, which is usually located in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
4. Remove the horn relay from the fuse box by gently prying it out with your fingers or a pair of pliers.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness that connects the horn relay to the horn by pressing on the release tab and pulling the connector apart.
6. Test the horn by pressing on the horn button on the steering wheel. If the horn does not sound, then it has been successfully disconnected.
7. Reinstall the horn relay and close the hood of the vehicle.
