2. Locate the transmission dipstick. It is usually marked with an orange handle. On the 1995 Honda Passport 4WD, it is located near the passenger side of the engine bay.
3. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean. Reinsert the dipstick into the transmission fluid tube as far as it will go.
4. Pull out the dipstick again and check the fluid level. The fluid should be between the two marks on the dipstick.
5. If the fluid level is low, add transmission fluid. Use a funnel to add fluid slowly. Check the fluid level frequently as you add fluid. Do not overfill the transmission.
6. Reinsert the dipstick and check the fluid level again. Ensure the fluid level is between the two marks on the dipstick.
7. Close the transmission fluid cap.
