1. Locate the main relay. In the 1992 Honda Accord, the main relay is located under the hood, in the fuse/relay box near the battery. It is a black rectangular box with four terminals.
2. Remove the main relay. To remove the main relay, use a small flathead screwdriver to pry the relay out of the fuse/relay box.
3. Inspect the main relay. Once the main relay is removed, inspect it for any signs of damage, such as cracks or burns. Also, check the terminals for any signs of corrosion or damage.
4. Test the main relay. To test the main relay, you can use a multimeter. Set the multimeter to the "continuity" setting. Then, place the probes of the multimeter on the two terminals of the main relay. If the multimeter beeps, then the main relay is working properly.
5. Reinstall the main relay. If the main relay is working properly, reinstall it in the fuse/relay box.
If the main relay is damaged or not working properly, it will need to be replaced. You can purchase a new main relay from an auto parts store.
