Will a Nissan 4 cylinder bolt up to v6 4x4 transmission?

It is unlikely that a Nissan 4-cylinder engine will bolt up to a V6 transmission unless they are from very similar car models or the transmission and engine come as a factory-built assembly such as from a junkyard car that had a 4-cylinder engine mated to a transmission designed for use with a V6 engine.
