1. Check the ignition switch. The screwdriver may have damaged the ignition switch, preventing the car from starting. Try turning the key in the ignition switch several times, both clockwise and counterclockwise, to see if it will engage. If the key won't turn at all, the ignition switch may need to be replaced.
2. Check the wiring. The screwdriver may have also damaged the wiring around the ignition switch. Look for any loose or damaged wires and repair or replace them as necessary.
3. Check the starter. If the ignition switch and wiring are working properly, the problem may be with the starter. Try tapping the starter with a hammer to see if it will engage. If the starter doesn't engage, it may need to be replaced.
4. Check the battery. A weak or dead battery can also prevent the car from starting. Check the battery voltage with a voltmeter to make sure it's within the recommended range. If the battery is weak or dead, it will need to be recharged or replaced.
If you are not comfortable performing these troubleshooting steps yourself, I recommend taking the car to a mechanic for diagnosis and repair.
