1. Park your car on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the cooling fan. It is usually located behind the radiator towards the front of the engine compartment.
4. Check the fan blades. Make sure they are clean and free of debris.
5. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
6. Check to see if the fan is spinning. If it is not spinning, there may be a problem with the fan motor, the electrical connection, or the temperature sensor.
7. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
8. Disconnect the electrical connector to the fan motor.
9. Use a multimeter to test the voltage at the electrical connector. The voltage should be 12 volts.
10. If there is no voltage at the electrical connector, check the fuse for the cooling fan. The fuse is usually located in the fuse box under the hood of your car.
11. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same size.
12. Reconnect the electrical connector to the fan motor.
13. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
14. Check to see if the fan is spinning. If it is spinning, the cooling fan is working properly.
If you are still having problems with your cooling fan, you should take your car to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.
