Tools Needed:

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- 10mm wrench

- 12mm wrench

Procedure:

1. Open the hood of your 1990 Isuzu pickup.

2. Locate the clutch cable bracket on the side of the transmission. It is held in place by two 10mm bolts.

3. Use a 10mm wrench to remove the two bolts.

4. Remove the clutch cable bracket from the transmission.

5. Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch fork by pulling down on the release arm.

6. Route the new clutch cable through the firewall and connect it to the clutch fork.

7. Reattach the clutch cable bracket to the transmission using the two 10mm bolts.

8. Tighten the bolts securely.

9. Adjust the clutch cable according to the manufacturer's specifications.

Tips:

* If the clutch cable is too tight, it will cause the clutch to slip.

* If the clutch cable is too loose, it will not disengage the clutch completely, which can lead to damage to the transmission.

* Make sure that the clutch cable is properly lubricated to prevent squeaking and binding.
