Where is the oil pressure sensor for 2001 Toyota Highlander?

1. Locate the oil pressure sending unit. On the 2001 Toyota Highlander, it is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the top. It is a small, cylindrical device with a single electrical connector.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil pressure sending unit.

3. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the oil pressure sending unit from the engine. Be careful not to drop the oil pressure sending unit into the engine.

4. Apply a thin coat of sealant to the threads of the new oil pressure sending unit.

5. Screw the new oil pressure sending unit into the engine. Tighten the oil pressure sending unit until it is snug.

6. Reconnect the electrical connector to the oil pressure sending unit.
