Here are step by step instructions on how to locate the thermostat on your vehicle:
1. Open your vehicle’s hood.
2. Locate the upper radiator hose. It is the large diameter hose that runs from the top of the engine to the radiator.
3. Follow the upper radiator hose down to where it connects to the engine block.
4. The thermostat housing is located just below the upper radiator hose connection on the front side of the engine block. It is usually made of metal and has two bolts that hold it in place.
5. To remove the thermostat, simply loosen the two bolts that hold it in place and remove it from the engine block.
