1. Park the vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Locate the fuel pump access door on the underside of the vehicle, just ahead of the rear axle.
4. Remove the access door.
5. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
6. Remove the fuel line from the fuel pump.
7. Remove the electrical connector from the fuel pump.
8. Remove the retaining ring from the fuel pump.
9. Remove the fuel pump from the fuel tank.
