Tools Needed
* Socket wrench
* Spark plug wrench
* Gapping tool
* New spark plugs
Instructions
1. Open the hood of your car and locate the spark plugs. The rear spark plug is located on the back of the engine, just above the transmission.
2. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug.
3. Use the spark plug wrench to loosen the spark plug.
4. Remove the spark plug from the engine.
5. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
6. Gap the new spark plug according to the manufacturer's specifications using a gapping tool.
7. Install the new spark plug into the engine.
8. Tighten the spark plug using the spark plug wrench.
9. Reconnect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
10. Close the hood of your car.
Tips
* Make sure that you have the correct size socket wrench and spark plug wrench before you begin.
* Be careful not to drop the spark plugs into the engine.
* If you are not comfortable changing spark plugs, you can take your car to a mechanic to have it done.
