1. Locate the vacuum lines on your carburetor. There will be three vacuum lines: a large vacuum line, a medium-sized vacuum line, and a small vacuum line.
2. The large vacuum line connects to the intake manifold. The intake manifold is located at the top of the engine, and it is where all the fuel and air is mixed together.
3. The medium-sized vacuum line connects to the distributor. The distributor is located on the side of the engine, and it is responsible for distributing the spark to the spark plugs.
4. The small vacuum line connects to the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure regulator is located on the top of the fuel injector rail, and it is responsible for regulating the fuel pressure.
5. Once you have connected all the vacuum lines, you can start the engine and check for vacuum leaks. If there is a vacuum leak, you will hear a hissing sound. If you hear a hissing sound, you need to tighten the vacuum lines until the hissing sound goes away.
6. Once you are sure that there are no vacuum leaks, you can put the air cleaner back on the engine.
