2. Locate the AC compressor. The AC compressor is usually located on the front of the engine, near the top. It is a round, metal object with a pulley on it.
3. Loosen the AC compressor belt tensioner. The AC compressor belt tensioner is a metal arm that holds the AC compressor belt in place. It is usually located near the AC compressor. To loosen the belt tensioner, turn the tensioner bolt counterclockwise until the belt is loose.
4. Remove the AC compressor belt. Once the belt tensioner is loose, you can remove the AC compressor belt by slipping it off the pulley.
5. Install the new AC compressor belt. To install the new AC compressor belt, simply slip it onto the pulley. Make sure that the belt is properly seated on the pulley.

7. Start the engine and check the AC compressor belt tension. Once the AC compressor belt is tightened, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check the AC compressor belt tension by pressing on it with your finger. The belt should be tight, but not too tight.
