1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the battery, which is typically housed in a plastic casing on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
3. Use a wrench to loosen the negative (black) terminal cable.
4. Use a wrench to loosen the positive (red) terminal cable.
5. Remove the battery casing if necessary.
6. Lift the battery out of the compartment.
When reinstalling the battery, be sure to reconnect the positive terminal cable first, followed by the negative terminal cable.
