1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Disconnect and remove the fan shroud.
3. Remove the serpentine belt. This can be done by loosening the tensioner pulley and then removing the belt from the pulleys.
4. Disconnect the power steering lines. There are two power steering lines that connect the pump to the steering rack. Disconnect these lines by loosening the flare nuts.
5. Remove the power steering pump bolts. There are three bolts that hold the pump in place. Remove these bolts and then remove the pump.
6. Install the new power steering pump. Place the new pump in position and then install the three bolts. Tighten the bolts until they are snug.
7. Reconnect the power steering lines. Reconnect the two power steering lines by tightening the flare nuts.
8. Reinstall the serpentine belt. This can be done by placing the belt around the pulleys and then tightening the tensioner pulley.
9. Reinstall the fan shroud.
10. Reconnect the battery.
11. Fill the power steering reservoir. Add enough power steering fluid to the reservoir to bring the level to the full mark.
12. Test the power steering system. Start the engine and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. The power steering should work smoothly and without any leaks.
