Where is your starter on a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant?

The starter on a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant is located on the rear side of the engine, near the bottom. It is attached to the transmission bell housing by two bolts. To access the starter, you will need to remove the air cleaner and battery.
