The fuse box for the cigarette lighter on a 2000 Ford Ranger is located in the driver's side footwell, behind a plastic cover. To access the fuse box, open the driver's side door and remove the plastic cover by pulling it straight out. The fuse for the cigarette lighter is labeled "CIGAR".
